What is Archimede?


Archimede has been conceived and designed to be a first step towards the Web Intelligence (WI) for Joomla!: the WI is a combination of web analytics, which examines for example data about how website visitors view and interact with a site's pages and features, and business intelligence, which allows to use data to make effective strategic decisions.
Joomla! website owners need to analyze how customers use their websites and make decisions: by providing simple ETL (Extract Transform Load) features, Archimede allows to:
  • gather information scattered across different datasources (Web Pages, Joomla! Articles, Databases, Snippets)
  • arrange different table and chart views for different user groups
  • have the information in realtime
